Day tripping

Paarl is the perfect base from which to explore the flora and untamed beaches of the Cape West Coast. Sample the world famous winelands and visit the Boland, French-inspired Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Wellington, as well as the southern coastal areas of whale-rich Hermanus and Gansbaai. Not forgetting the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town, which is a short 40-minute drive away and offers world-class shopping, entertainment and pristine beaches. With over 300 days of sunshine a year, living in the Cape is undoubtedly a highly rewarding lifestyle experience.

The culinary delights of Paarl range from traditional fare to exquisite international cuisine. Restaurants and eateries are diverse in character and range. Education

Paarl is also home to some of the country’s finest schools offering an international standard of education. Courtrai primary school provides learners with a solid foundation in education, while the reputable La Rochelle girl’s junior/high school, Paarl Boy’s Primary/High School and Paarl Gimnasium have been serving the community with pride for many, many years.
